We are so excited that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho is our Powerful Pint partner for October!
Meet The BBBS
In a world of causes, we make a difference by creating professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships for kids to realize their full potential.
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) works to clear the path to a child’s biggest possible future by matching them with a caring, adult mentor in a one-to-one friendship. BBBS provides children (aka: a Little) with a volunteer adult mentor (aka: a Big) who serves as a consistent presence in the Little’s life. Bigs help Littles ignite, empower and defend their potential by standing with them as their cheerleader and champion.
Mission
The mission BBBS is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our vision is that all youth achieve their full potential.
A Program that Works!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho have proven results in their mentorship program. 97% of littles have improved self confidence, 92% are less likely to get into trouble, and 86% have performed better in school.
How does it work?
Big Brothers Big Sisters of SW Idaho works together to ignite, empower, and defend potential:
We are deliberate and direct. We understand that our mission is urgent and essential, and we do not apologize for our passion.
We are inviting and inclusive. We work to ensure that every child, volunteer, employee, and guardian feels part of our mission.
We are powerful and positive. We know our work is changing lives all across the country, and we are confident that we are bettering our communities and our country.
We are genuine and honest. We talk like people because lives are changed in interactions, not on a conference call.
