Help us welcome our Powerful Pint partner for April, the Women’s and Children’s Alliance!
Meet The WCA
Founded in 1970, the Women’s and Children’s Alliance provides services to those healing from domestic abuse and sexual assault. Since its founding, WCA’s crisis program has evolved into one of the most vital, unduplicated, comprehensive programs in our community and region. WCA is proud to be a community leader in providing these critically needed services.
Making a Difference
The WCA offers multiple services to support safety, healing, and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault.
WCA provides safety to domestic abuse and sexual assault victims through two 24-hour crisis hotlines, a domestic abuse shelter, safety planning assistance, and court advocacy.
They provide healing through therapy services, support groups, and client advocacy.
They provide freedom through case management and financial empowerment and life skills classes.
Through these core values, they work to provide security, hope, and empowerment and to break the cycle of violence.
In 2022, the WCA provided more than 21,000 services to members of our community in need.

Here’s what we are doing this month to support WCA:
Powerful Pint Night: Cornhole Tournament - Join us on Wednesday, April 19 starting at 5 pm for a cornhole tournament and raffle! 50% of taproom proceeds from this whole day will go directly to WCA.
Powerful Pint Beer: Buy a Ghost Town Porter anytime in April and $2 from each glass will go directly to WCA.
Round Up At Checkout: When you visit the taproom in April, round your tab up to the nearest dollar to donate your change to WCA. Those little donations will add up to make a big difference at the end of the month!
More Ways to Support
None of the work WCA does would be possible without the help of volunteers and supporters. Please consider making an additional donation directly to the Women’s and Children’s Alliance to support the work they do to provide safety and healing to people all across the Valley. Make a donation to WCA.
